Development of an electronic warfare system to analyze the exploitable properties of global positioning satellite systems
The goal of the project
Today, it is necessary to accurately determine the positions of almost all mobile platforms (missile, airplane, UAV, vehicle, ship, etc.) as precisely as needs.
In order to meet this need, GPS satellite system by USA, GLONASS satellite system by Russia and GALILEO satellite system by European Union have been developed and used.
These systems, which are entirely under the control of these countries, for example, allow the missile to determine its position with a maximum of 1 meter error and thus to hit the target with very high precision.
While trying to jam missile-like platforms with electronic jamming systems produced by many countries, the platform is beginning to determine its position using other alternative methods / systems when it understands that it is under jamming and therefore jamming may be ineffective.
With the project; the platform will be electronically deceived, so that it will continue positioning with GPS as if it is receiving a real GPS signal, and in reality an electronic deception system will be developed that removes it from its target over time.
The system to be developed is planned to be developed in 3 (three) different configurations, either mounted on the vehicle or remotely controlled in a fixed position or integrated on the UAV.
